There's a process to register mobility devices with the police, similar to registering bicycles.
Registration is free and assists police in returning registered items to the owner, if stolen.

Gather the make, model and serial number of the device and photos of the front, back, and sides. Register the device at the Project 529 website and print the registration form and bring it to the Qualicum Beach Community Safety Volunteer Office. They will give you a registration number and decal for your device.
